Development 100MW BESS battery site

Verdant Earth is an Australian public company with over 200 local shareholders. We are focused on the development of firm power solutions from renewable sources.

As its first project, Verdant owns the 20 hectare (47-acre) Redbank site located at Warkworth NSW, 20 kilometres from the township of Singleton. The strategic site is location of the 151MW Redbank Power Station which Verdant is planning on recommissioning using sustainably sourced biomass as a fuel.

The site is adjacent to the 132kV distribution line operated by Ausgrid and the 330kV transmission line operated by Transgrid. The site is also centrally located in the NSW Government Hunter and Central Coast Renewable Energy Zone. For more details of the Redbank Project including a video overview of the site, please refer to this link.

Verdant is seeking offers from potential parties to either acquire outright a portion of its site or to partner in the funding, supply, install and operate a large scale battery storage facility from its Warkworth site. Verdant seeks to establish a long-term partnerships with parties that can work together across multiple sites.

Please respond by contacting Verdant to receive a briefing paper on the project and details of the submissions required.
